One of the primary inventions ever produced could be the USB extension cord. This product, though simple as it might seem, accords users a great amount of convenience in their computing tasks. It does this with the addition of another amount of cable that will enable users or devices to stay in an area that’s some distance out of the main unit.

A lot of the peripheral computing devices purchased from the current market have short USB cable connectors. This limits your ability to properly arrange these devices in a fashion that it wouldn’t look too cluttered. While it’s true that one could always buy wireless devices to use in your house or office, many still can be expensive. Others are notoriously recognized for compatibility difficulty with some systems. This is the reason it is still safer to use devices with USB technology to reduce the chance of system incompatibility.

Just like any other technological invention, USB cords already went through lots of changes which made its primary function of delivering data back and forth faster and efficient. The first USB standard to get popular in the market is version 1.1, that has been at a later date superseded by version 5 technologies. Many of these look a similar, they differ in the way packets of data are delivered from the cable.
